Jay-Z Wants to Charge You
By Vero Gurdian
In today’s world, you manage just about everything from your smartphone. E-mails, appointments, social networks, even your menstrual cycle. So obviously nothing is more frustrating than seeing the little red icon denoting a low battery. Your palms start sweating, your heart rate increases and all of a sudden you’re having a panic attack. Finding a charger becomes like looking for an oasis in the desert. Every wire you see snaking around the floor is a glimmer of hope.
So maybe I’m being a bit theatrical, but am I far off? Jay-Z understands your need to be constantly connected (although I’m sure he has a bit more to do than you serial Instagrammers) and he’s partnering up with Duracell and Powermat in creating a Wireless Power Nation. In January of this year, the rapper and entrepreneur signed on to be an investor and spokesperson.
“I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “I’m partnering with Duracell Powermat because they’re providing the solutions for the future.”
The rapper is trying on his own product for size in his 40/40 club in New York City. The club is outfitted with Powermats throughout the lounge, allowing customers to simply set their phones down on countertops and tables for a quick charge. They aren’t stopping there, though. Duracell Powermat is looking to partner with businesses you regularly visit: the gym, coffee shops, the airport and even stadiums.
Duracell Powermat expects to roll out its product throughout popular businesses in big cities in early 2013.
Are you excited to charge up everywhere, or worried you might leave your most prized possession behind?

Thanks for the recommendations on credit repair on your web-site. Some tips i would tell people should be to give up the particular mentality that they buy currently and pay back later. Like a society we tend to make this happen for many issues. This includes getaways, furniture, and also items we would like. However, you need to separate the wants from the needs. When you’re working to improve your credit rating score you really have to make some trade-offs. For example you may shop online to save cash or you can go to second hand retailers instead of high priced department stores intended for clothing.
